WELCOME TO
'Hull 24'

A service offered to
visually impaired surfers in Hull and the surrounding areas.

For our new visitors, 'Giacom World Networks' and 'Hull 24' are pleased to announce the launch of our new accessible Website dedicated to Visually Impaired people throughout Hull and the surrounding areas.

'Hull 24' offers Internet access to those who use the Kingston Communications telephone using the Hull's local rate tariff. We have two options for you to choose from.

THE HOME USER 24 PACKAGE

For only £13.99 per month, home users who use Kingston Communications as their telephone provider can now access the Internet through 'Hull 24' using Hull's 5.5p (+VAT) unmetered tariff. There's no minimum contract and no set-up fees - just £13.99 per month...

THE BUSINESS USER 24 PACKAGE

Again using Hull's 5.5p unmetered call tariff, business users can now access the Internet on a business-grade connection for £21.99+VAT per month. With no minimum contract, you can connect your business to the Internet whenever you like, 24 hours a day...

ABOUT 'HULL 24'

Within the Kingston Communications telephone area there are currently very few unmetered Internet options available to the home or business user. Because the area cannot be served by BT, most unmetered Internet packages available in the rest of the UK are not available in Hull.

The solution has been to build a dedicated POP (point-of-presence) at the Giacom network centre in Hull. Data links have been installed direct onto the UUNet Internet backbone in Leeds to ensure fast Internet availability, giving those in Hull and the surrounding areas an unmetered option using KC's unique 5.5p (+VAT) flat rate call plan.

Hull24 is a service by Giacom World Networks Limited, who were at the forefront of the Internet revolution back in 1998, and now, four years on, proudly boast more than 55,000 users in total across the UK and beyond.

ABOUT 'GIACOM WORLD NETWORKS'

UK Fantastic was the name for Giacom World Networks back in 1998 when the company was formed at the outset of the Internet revolution in the UK.

It was at this time the company was one of the first to offer free-to-subscribe Internet access on an 0845 number, and since then Giacom has expanded to include a web hosting service for businesses, and an unmetered Internet access service available on the BT network throughout the UK. Giacom now has in excess of 55,000 users, rising at a rate of nearly 500 each month, with clients such as the Ministry of Defence, NHS Direct, EMAP, Pink Ribbon Breast Cancer Awareness, Original Source and Corus.

On acceptance, your account will be activated immediately and you can start dialing straight away.

Before joining, there are four things to check...

That you have read fully the terms and conditions of the service and that you fully understand their meaning. Please click here to read the terms and conditions.

That you understand, for security purposes, your Caller ID (the telephone number from which your computer dials from) is verified when you dial Hull24. It needs to correspond with the number you supply when you sign-up (in STEP 2). If your number is withheld, or you're not sure, please click here.

That you will be dialing from the Kingston Communications telephone network, and that you use the normal Kingston 5.5p (+VAT) flat rate local call plan.
